Do I need to register for Sixer basketball?
No, there is no registration necessary until after the try outs and the teams are chosen.
When are the try outs?
Try outs are usually held from mid to late October.
When are the teams chosen?
The teams are usually chosen in late October after the completion
of try outs.
Is there guaranteed playing time?
No, playing time is not guaranteed.
How many Sixer teams per grade are there?
Due to gym availability, there usually is only one Sixer team per grade.
If I have a conflict with my scheduled try out date, what should I do?
If there is a conflict with a try out date you must let us know ahead
of time so we may schedule you with a different group. You can

Who can coach and when are the coaches chosen?
Anyone can coach and the coaches are chosen after the teams have
been picked, unless a volunteer who has no child involved in the
tryouts decides to offer his/her services. That being said, we
encourage anyone who is interested in coaching to let us know so
we can plan accordingly and register with the league. There have
been occasions in the past where we have selected a team and no
one has volunteered to coach. When that happens we have no team.
