RBSA on a Summer Roll Update 7/29/2010
Our 10U Select team won the NJ Little League State Championship in a thrilling game that was not decided until the 6th inning the final score was 6-2.
Hats off to our opponent Tom River, coaches and fans were a class act. The turn out from Ramsey was again nothing short of amazing it was a mixture of RBSA past and present, young and old, I am truly proud to be part of such a great community. As soon as we got the last out the gate in right field opened and the sea of fans rushing on the field unbelievable, the Little League officials turned to me and said “ this is great and this is what it is all about”.
Congrats to Billy, Jon, John Sample and all the other coaches and parents this is another great group that are always willing to pitch in and help.
Thank you to all the girls and boys summer coaches who have given so much time and effort and truly have made our summer programs the envy of Bergen County. Many of these coaches were there last night with members of their teams cheering on our 10’s.
Tonight the Junior Girls will play for their summer tournament Championship in Midland Park, Bruce, Harry or Naga can you forward game details. Go Ramsey!
Please come out and support our girls and boys teams, and wear your Navy and Gold.

Regional Schedule:
Teams will begin in Mid-Atlantic and New England Pool Play. The top two teams from the Mid-Atlantic will then play each other in a single-elimination game and the top two teams from the New England pool will do the same. The winners of those games will meet in the championship on Saturday, August 7 at 3 p.m.

Fall Baseball Registration
This year’s fall program will run from early September through the end of October. Each team will play approximately 8-10 games plus playoffs. Ramsey teams will be playing teams from other towns. The number of teams and players who can participate will be based on the number of players and coaches interested.
Registration is open to all players with the following teams forming: Please check one. Please note that we move up in the fall (ie. If you just played Spring/Summer as a 10U, you are now 11U). Age groups are 8/9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13 (50x70), 14-15U.
